Our Management Structure


GCID Operates under a three-tier governance structure made up of a Board of Governance, an Executive Board and Administration.

The administration is headed by a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who works with subsidiary staff including 17 Programme Directors. The highest policy making body of GCID is the Board of Governance. Whereas the Executive Board is the second highest body, and is answerable to the Board of Governance and is responsible for operational policies, guidelines and strategies set out by the Board of Governance, which is responsible for appointment of independent members and chairperson of the Executive Board of Directors (EBD).

The Executive Board is in charge of audit and risk committee, which it has constituted and delegated responsibility to function in accordance with the policy direction of GCID set out for it. The Board of Governors (BOG) and the Executive Board (EBD) are composed with a highly profile expertise and technocrats around the world.
